How to Become a Valued Consignor
•Clothing should be IN-SEASON, clean, pressed, and in good condition (no stains, tears, missing buttons, or broken zippers). Please bring all clothing items in on hangers to facilitate the inspection process. We will return your hangers to you.
•Furniture, bedding, and baby accessories must be clean, intact, and in good working condition. All items must be meet consumer safety standards (www.cpsc.gov). Used mattresses are not acceptable for resale.
•Your items will be displayed in the store for a minimum of sixty (60) days. After thirty (30) days, items are automatically reduced from 15-50% depending on condition, season, and demand for the item.
•The Whimsical Wardrobe sets the selling price. When an item sells, you will receive half of the sales price. Consignors of larger items (sale price greater than $75) will receive 60% of the sales price. A buyers fee, ranging from fifty (50) cent to one dollar, will be added to each item. This fee is paid by the buyer, not the consignor, and is used to cover processing charges.
•Stop in ANYTIME to collect the money you have made! Checks will be issued on the 15th of each month for items sold the previous month exceeding $25. Account credits may be applied to store purchases at any time.
•Store hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10am- 6pm and Saturday, 10am- 4pm. Consignments are accepted Tuesday through Thursday and by appointment.
•Items we accept: brand name and boutique childrens' clothing and shoes; childrens furniture, bedding, accessories, lighting, and décor; baby equipment (strollers, high chairs, infant exercisers, and developmental toys); brand name maternity clothing.
•Items we do NOT accept: discount department store brands (Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target, etc.); car seats; soiled or damaged items; and items that are broken or have missing pieces.

Welcome to the Whimsical Wardrobe! We are pleased you have chosen to partner with our shop. Our goal is to provide high quality childrens clothing and accessories at discounted prices. We are committed to providing our partners with a unique and desirable retail environment with the goal of selling your items at the highest possible profit to you. Our policies are designed to provide convenience and success for you, our valued consignor. Here is how it works:
All items must be clean, intact, and in good condition. Clothing should be hung on hangers to facilitate the selection process. We select items our customers will buy. Sometimes there are items we can not sell. Please understand that our customers preferences guide the selection process.
We base prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you.
All items will be displayed in the store for no less than 60 days. After 30 days, items are automatically reduced from 15-50% depending on condition, season, and demand for the item.
You will receive half of the selling price. Consignors of larger items selling for more than $75 will receive 60% of sales proceeds. A buyers fee of fifty cents to one dollar is added to each item. This fee is paid for by the buyer, not the consignor, and covers processing fees.
If you would like to retrieve unsold items, please do so by the sixtieth day. All unclaimed items will become the property of The Whimsical Wardrobe, LLC.
We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss.
Checks will be available on the 15th of each month for items sold the previous month exceeding $25. Account balances less than $25 are paid in cash or used towards the purchase of merchandise.
